Huge Congratulations to AFC Bambers’ founder, Matthew Bradshaw, on winning the South Ribble Sports Award 2024 for Adult Volunteer of the Year!
Matt’s dedication, passion, and countless hours of work have been vital in creating and growing the club and community. This award is a recognition of his incredible commitment to our community and the development of football for all.
We’re also proud to announce that AFC Bambers was shortlisted for Community Club of the Year! Although we didn’t win this one, being recognized and nominated among so many inspiring clubs is an amazing honour in itself.
A huge thank you to everyone who supports us – players, families, volunteers, and our community. Together, we continue to make a difference! 
Matt would also love to shout out to all that have helped him with the clubs growth iver the years, past, present, and future. Those who have raised money for the club, help run sessions, and help grow the club in different areas such as mental health and the league side of the club. This award isn’t just for him, it’s for everyone involved.
